Dr. Andrew Karmin received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Cornell University. He was the director of a multi doctor small animal practice in Queens, NY founded in 1946 by his father. The primary focus of his career has proudly been the delivery of the highest standard of care to his patients. It has been his pleasure and honor to mentor numerous veterinarians and New York State licensed veterinary technicians. Dr. Karmin has served as president of the New York City Veterinary Medical Association and was a member of its executive board for many years. He also held numerous positions on the local and state level including membership on the New York State Board of Examiners and the Ethics Committee. Committed to the cause of veterinary nursing he currently serves on the Executive Board of the College of Veterinary Technology at LaGuardia Community College. In his spare time, Dr. Karmin enjoys biking and running and spending time with his wife Ann, 2 daughters, sons in law and his grandchildren.
