Education: Ross University, Colorado State University
Dr. Valerie Reynolds was born and raised in Spokane, WA where she originally pursued her passion for snowboarding. After competing at an elite level and obtaining multiple injuries, she decided to change career paths and follow her ultimate dream of veterinary medicine. Dr. Reynolds studied ecology and evolutionary biology at CU Boulder before being accepted to veterinary school at Ross University in St. Kitts. In 2021, she completed clinical rotations at Colorado State University and recently moved to Long Island where she accepted this position with West Hills Animal Hospital. Dr. Reynolds has a British Red Labrador named Shank, and a domestic long hair kitty named Koba that are currently back home in Washington. In the future, she hopes to specialize in either Cardiology or Neurology, and eventually relocate closer to her family in the Pacific Northwest.
